Class Work - 4th May

Today we will continue completing the analysis of the feedback and questionnaire.

During the lesson I will have 1:1 discussion with each of you about the work on your website and generate a todo list.

Next lesson we will be starting strand 1 the Preproduction tools presentation so all work from the checklist must be complete in your own time.

Class Work - 24th April

Analysis of feedback should include:

  • Break down of the key headlines from data and statistics collected
  • Use of Graphs to illustrate results
  • How do we perceive the results and why?
  • Summary of our Focus Group (class feedback)
  • Do both sets of results paint the same picture.
  • What changes do we feel we need to make to our ad in light of these results.

EDL

An EDL is a combination of your storyboard and your footage log. It’s a paper edit of your ad.

This was very useful in the days before powerful non-liner editing systems were available. Each edit would be preplanned with the timecode of each in and out point of every clip ready to be cut together
